Stephanie over at Wife, Mommy, Me and Liz over at Chasin' Mason had this great idea for a box swap...all about moms and little boys!
My partner for the #boyMOMBoxSwap was Crystal from Hall Around Texas. She's mom to her adorable son Mason.
Ewan got a Paw Patrol book (which he has to read every night since we got it), a TMNT and a gardening set. He put it to use today helping me plant some of our garden. The kid LOVES to help in the yard.
I got a gift card to Starbucks...you have no idea how happy that made me to see that arrive in the mail :-)
Thanks again Crystal!
Yay! Hope you guys enjoyed all of the goodies. :)
ReplyDeleteWe did! We planted 40 onions yesterday and he (and his sister) had so much fun toting the garden set all around the yard.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great box full of goodies! It's awesome that you got a Starbucks giftcard also...score!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Mac would go crazy over that Paw Patrol book! He LOVES Marshall! And that gardening set is awesome! What a great box of goodies!
ReplyDeleteHe LOVES Paw Patrol. You have no idea the hunt we had to get him Skye and Marshall figures right after Christmas. We looked in stores in three different cities before we gave up and just bought them online. It was nuts!
ReplyDeleteYeah...that gift card might or might not already be gone... ;-)
ReplyDeletehow fun!
ReplyDeleteLove that gardening set! Such a cute idea for a boy gift!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a fun time at LEGO KidsFest. We went several years ago when it came to Cincinnati and our boys had a blast! If you can't get to LEGO Land this is the next best!
ReplyDeleteI thought there was LEGOland somewhere near Windsor? I haven't been but would LOVE to go sometime.
ReplyDeleteThe first year we went, my daughter was five months old and my son had just turned two. So, they didn't have as much fun then as they do now. But, we sure did!
ReplyDeleteI am not 100% sure but i will check.
ReplyDeleteWhoa this is so awesome - I had no idea there was a lego convention!! I bet all the kids were running wild and so excited about it all. I know my nephews would go bonkers to go see stuff like this in person. I love it!!
ReplyDeleteI have never got to see a lego event before. It looks like a builders dream. honestly of an age lol if you were to put me in a pile on lego i would want to stay there building a chair (childhood dream) looks like you have lots of fun. I'm so interested if there will be one where i live
ReplyDeleteMy kids love to play in the yard and in the garden. So glad they inherited that from me!
ReplyDeleteWe have been in Louisville and Indianapolis. As the kids get older they have more fun each time.
ReplyDeleteI had just as much as the kids!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like such a blast! I just wrote a post about different ways you can play with Legos...your kiddos might enjoy it. It seems like this event was a huge success and tons of fun. If you are ever in the Chicagoland area, be sure to check out LEGOLAND!

like you guys had a lot of fun at Legofest!
It seems to be a great place to go with family and kids.i have never been there but have heard a lot.from the pictures i can see that every one had fun and great time.thanx for sharing
ReplyDeleteThat looks so awesome! My nephew and I are all about Legos. He'd be so stoked to go to this. I can't believe some of the things people make with Legos. That car is amazing.
ReplyDeleteThat must be like heaven for kids to have access to all of those LEGOS and be able to create things with them. The LEGO car is pretty cool, but that giraffe is awesome! Never been to one of these, and sadly, none coming to a city near me anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteI am a kid at hear so I would LOVE to visit Legoland! Me kids would love this as well. I love all the cool structures that they made with lego. Super cool! Especially that giraffe.
