This is the last link up of The Boys Behind the Blog and I am so sad to see it go. It has been by far my favorite link up and I love learning more about my fellow bloggers significant others'!
1. What was your first job? The restaurant at Churchill Downs
2. What is the biggest risk you've ever taken? I only take calculated
risks, but us moving back and forth when getting/switching jobs without
knowing if we could make it work.
3. What is one thing you can't live without? Caffeine or my family, it's a toss up. He's a Mountain Dew addict!
4. What is your least favorite food? Spinach soup or meatloaf A direct quote from the man himself "The only thing that should come in a loaf is bread!"
5. If you could time travel, where/when would you go? Hill Valley, Nov 12 1955 I had no idea what this was referring to, but apparently it's the date from Back to the Future. Can you believe I have never seen any of those films?
Aaaand that's it for the Boys Behind the Blog. I hope you've enjoyed reading more about Alan as much as I have enjoyed sharing his "secrets!"

It's so funny to be reminded that men truly have few words. We girls could have dragged these on and on into full essays ;)
ReplyDeleteHahaha, I know! Maybe that's why I create my own commentary... :-)
ReplyDeleteNow that I have been to Churchill Downs, I have an even better appreciation that his first job was there!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was something to do with mid-century modern architecture since that's his thing LOL I vaguely remember seeing pieces of those movies as a kid, but they've just never seemed interesting to me.
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous that you got to go to the Derby! We have a racetrack here, but it's just not the same.
ReplyDeleteMy hubby is addicted to Mt. Dew too, he always has one :). I also wanted to share that I am going to continue this link up just under a different name and would love for you to join and link up.
ReplyDeleteThis was a nice series to follow. What could I not live without??? Hmmm... probably chocolate or happy hour to get me through the day. LOL
ReplyDeleteI personally think Mt. Dew is disgusting :-) That would be awesome if the link up continued on!
ReplyDeleteThat was fun. I had no idea that it was a link-up! It is great to see the family that is attached to the blogger!
ReplyDeleteDave would probably say his biggest risk was moving to kansas!
ReplyDeleteWe took a big risk moving to Pennsylvania and then back to Indiana. We didn't know how easy it would be for me to find a job in PA (it wasn't!) and then when we moved back to Indiana, it was eight weeks after Ewan was born and a week after having my gallbladder removed AND we didn't know if I would be able to find a job all over again. Moving with a newborn and recovering from two surgeries was NOT fun!
