My family of course! My in-laws came from Louisville on Saturday to help Alan put together the swing set we got the kiddos last weekend.
Ewan was ecstatic and couldn't wait to start playing on it until after Alan and his dad finished putting it together.
Cecily got to play some too. That girl is fearless! She was able to climb to the top without me helping her after one time and she loves the slide. The first couple of times I would hold onto her to slow her down some, but she didn't like that so much. Instead, she wanted to go flying down the slide and along the ground at the bottom. Silly girl!
The only photo I got of both of them in the playhouse.
We also went out to dinner that night with my in-laws and my sister-in-law and nephews. We went to Ewan's favorite restaurant, Chili's.
And oh yeah, I also made $75 Saturday by selling baby stuff online. Getting stuff out of my house and making some extra cash? Can't complain here!
Who were you with and what did you do this weekend?
Yay, it's up! My kids were so excited when we put theirs up 2 years ago!
ReplyDeleteWe had the same playset until our neighbors tree fell on top of it!! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteOh no! That's awful :( I'm sure the kids will have a blast and get some good use out of it...and hopefully no trees fall on it either.
ReplyDeleteSurprisingly, it didn't take nearly as long as we thought. We were all still a little traumatized by my brother-in-law's swingset that took two days!
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun and just in time for spring :) I can't wait until we put one up! The one the old owners left took forever to take down with the amount of concrete they set it in lol.
ReplyDeleteYay! Your kids must be thrilled with all their new outdoor loot!
ReplyDeleteCannot wait to get our outdoor playset! And have you noticed how they just seem to get cooler and cooler as the years go by?
ReplyDeletewe have almost the same set! it gets lots of play here!
ReplyDeleteGlad you finally got it put together:) We watched some travel presentations on Saturday (Rick Steves was doing free webcasts) and Eric did some things outside. Sunday we did some much-needed shopping for kids' clothes, went to Sam's to get stuff for Felix's party, and took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese. I was worn out by Sunday night!
ReplyDeleteIf it ever warms up and stays that way, I'm sure ours will too. We're supposed to get snow tonight!
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous of all their stuff because I never had anything like it as a kid.
ReplyDeleteThey didn't put it in concrete, just staked it. Hopefully a strong wind doesn't come take it out!
ReplyDeleteYou would not believe how excited they are about it.
ReplyDeleteAlan hasn't been feeling that well since Thursday, so we've all been passing out before 10 each night. Unfortunately, Cecily has been waking up a lot so there hasn't been a lot of sleeping going on though.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! I'll be Spring cleaning and having a garage sale this weekend! I'm looking forward to getting some cash for the things I don't need anymore! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's an awesome swingset! Eli would love it too. Looks/sounds like a great day :)
