April Goals and March Recap

I didn't have very many goals for March because I was pretty ambitious for February and failed miserably. I figured it's better to set goals that I know I can do if I put my mind to it.

Onto how we did:
  • Go to church twice this month and decide if we want to stay or start visiting other churches. We went to church twice this month. I wound up sending Cecily to the nursery today, which definitely helped because we weren't constantly having to entertain her. I think we will try to put her in the nursery each time we go from now on.
  • Get Ewan registered for preschool. Done!
  • Get our hotel booked for our vacation. We did this last week.
  • Meal Plan every week. Surprisingly this did happen. I posted meals each week on the dry erase board and made all of them.
  • Get back to going to the gym three times a week. Ha! While I did go to the gym, it definitely wasn't three times a week, more like three times a month. I did, however, ride my exercise bike at home at least twice a week.

And I just realized I accomplished all but one of my goals...victory!

Here are my goals for April:
  • Continue to meal plan every week.
  • Go to the gym/ride the exercise bike/walk around the neighborhood three times a week.
  • Stay within our grocery and eating out budgets. These both were completely blown in March. Must do better this month!
  • Finish getting the yard cleaned up.
  • Create the herb garden.
  • Figure out our vacation itinerary.
What are your goals for the month?

Don't forget to link up your goals for the month of April!

  1. That is so great!! I really battle with going to church because Hubby works and Im just not able to deal with both boys alone at church!! I think you did quite well!

  2. I am always so impressed by you blog goal-setters out there. I need to make that a goal of mine. Hah! I guess I do have a to-do list not tied to a specific month...

  3. I admit, I don't go if Alan isn't with me because I can't deal with both kids by myself there!

  4. I have a running to-do list that never seems to get much crossed off of it. I started doing monthly goals and posting them because I'm more likely to accomplish at least some this way.

  5. Good goals, Holly! Good job on March too!

  6. Hey 4 out of 5 on the March goals is a major victory as far as I'm concerned :)
One of my goals for this month is getting to work on a garden as well. The toddler loves "helping" so we'll see how that goes lol.

  7. You did awesome!!! And though you didn't get to the gym you still worked out at home so I think that still counts!!

  8. Great job! I always utilized the nursery when I could; otherwise I don't get anything out of the message!

I love comments so leave me some love!
