I received free product in exchange for this review. However, all opinions are my own.
A few weeks ago someone in my mom's Facebook group was talking about wool drying balls instead of conventional fabric softener or dryer sheets and how great they are. I don't use fabric softener or dryer sheets on my kids' clothes and I hate that they come out feeling rough and full of static. So, when I was given a six pack of Woolzies to test out, I was super excited.
They're chemical free and therefore non-toxic and hypoallergenic. Something I like about them is that they're handmade in Nepal, giving women who need a steady source of income just that.
The packaging and the Woolzies website claim that they reduce not only static but drying time so I decided to do a little experiment. I set my dryer for less time than normal to see if this was really true.
And they really did reduce drying time by about 10 minutes!
Now Woolzies wants to give away a six-pack of dryer balls to one of my readers. The giveaway will run for one week, until February 19, and is open to US residents only. Good luck!
I like my reusable cloth shopping bags.
ReplyDeleteI like Woolzies. I also like my wash ball. And my Clean Couture all-purpose spray. Smells amazing!
ReplyDeleteCool - I had never heard of Woolzies! Thanks for sharing! :-)
ReplyDeleteI have a TON of these that I use for everything, not just shopping. Not only am I helping the environment by using them, but some stores give you a few cents off your purchase for each bag.
ReplyDeleteThey're great. I'm so glad I was able to try them out!
ReplyDeleteI make my own bathroom cleaner that I like--but I would really like to try these too!
ReplyDeleteI use vinegar and Dawn for my bathroom. It's awesome! I love all the random uses for vinegar.
ReplyDeleteI love the laundry detergent from The Honest Company.
ReplyDeleteVinegar! I use it to mop, clean and add to laundry.

ReplyDeleteI've never bought anything from them. Glad to know you like it though!
ReplyDeleteThey have some great stuff.
ReplyDeleteThese look awesome! I would love to give them a try. I stopped using dryer sheets because we all have sensitive skin!
ReplyDeleteCloth diapers, wool dryer balls, and reusable bags.
ReplyDeleteI've never used dryer sheets, just fabric softener. I will always use wool dryer balls now!
ReplyDeleteWe love wool dryer balls and use them with each load. My favorite eco product is A Happy Green Life laundry wash. No more eczema!
