It's not like we had a lot of friends out there like we do here (although I will admit that I feel a little left out lately since I'm not able to stay home with my kids). I hated my job. It was expensive as heck and we were 10 hours away from our families (although once we moved two of my cousins moved within 2 hours of where we used to live, figures).
Maybe it's because I miss being so close to large cities and our little trips that we used to take.

Or, as my husband just said, we knew PA as free people, without our children. So maybe that's it. I think I'm missing the sense of adventure we had while we were out there.
Or, I just really need a vacation :-)
I get like this when I really need a vacation. I start romanticizing other places I've been or lived. Usually a trip cures it... for awhile anyway.
