It's That Time Again!

1. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before? got pregnant
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I think my resolution was to lose the weight I had gained from working at Target, and that DEFINITELY didn't happen since I'm pregnant!
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? holy cow yes! my friend Sarah gave birth to a boy named Hunter and my friends Shanna, Rachel and Mindy gave birth to girls, Breanna, Anya and Aria
4. Did anyone close to you die? no
5. What countries did you visit? the US
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010? besides my child? a job in which I didn't feel like my boss was trying to find ways in which to fire me
7. What date(s) from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? April 16 - day I found out I was pregnant, May 29-June 6 - trip to Disney, Sept 11 - baby shower, Oct 10-12 - anniversary trip to Rochester, NY, Oct 21- Alan's birthday, Oct 24 - our anniversary, Nov 7 - freezing at the Eagles game, Nov 23 - Michael Buble concert, Dec 5 - my birthday, there are other days that I can't remember the exact date, going to Williamsburg, seeing our baby on u/s for the first time, being stuck in the hospital for gallstones (boo!)
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? paying off some debt
9. What was your biggest failure? not paying off as much debt as I would've liked!
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? things that are pregnancy related, morning sickness daily until 24 weeks and then on and off for the rest of my pregnancy, carpal tunnel in my wrists, being hospitalzed or gallstones...twice
11. What was the best thing you bought?
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? all the people who support us
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? people who will never change, no matter how hard you hope/wish they will
14. Where did most of your money go? paying off debt and saving money for the baby
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? being pregnant
16. What song(s) will always remind you of 2010? I have no idea
17. Compared to this time last year, are you: i. happier or sadder? happier ii. thinner or fatter? definitely fatter! iii. richer or poorer? probably about the same
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? traveling, enjoying life instead of being stressed by it
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? worrying, being stressed
20. How did you spend Christmas? at our apartment in PA for the first time since we moved out here. My mom took the train from IN a few days before Christmas and we spent the day opening gifts, watching movies and eating a yummy meal
21. Did you fall in love in 2010? more in love with my husband and in love with our son
22. How many one-night stands? none
23. What was your favorite TV program? Brothers and Sisters, Glee, Flashforward, The Event, Outsourced
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? no
25. What was the best book you read? I haven't read that much this year sadly, probably rereading The Deathly Hallows
26. What was your greatest musical discovery? playing my clarinet again
27. What did you want and get? to become pregnant
28. What did you want and not get? more debt paid off
29. What was your favorite film of this year? hmm, probably The Tourist
30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I turned 29 and on my actual birthday we went to Macaroni Grill and Longwood Gardens, Alan also took me to see Michael Buble in November as a birthday present
31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? more relaxation and less worrying
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010? comfort
33. What kept you sane? my husband, cats and friends
34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? umm...
35. What political issue stirred you the most? the environment and the lack of attention it's getting
36. Who did you miss? my friends that live far away
37. Who was the best new person you met? people that stimulate me intellectually at work
38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2010: Things may seem greener on the other side, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's true
