Staying Calm with RESCUE

If you've been around for a while, then you probably know I suffered post partum depression and ptsd following the birth of my son. What you may not know is that I have been in therapy on and off for the last three years due to it.

I have always refused to take meds that mess with your body chemistry - something just doesn't sit right with me taking something that drastically modifies your body like that. I don't use birth control for this reason and it's also the reason I didn't want to take meds for ppd or ptsd. I have had still have some dark days and it manifests itself as incredibly stressed out and angry, which is no good for any of us. As I have gotten more into the crunchy lifestyle, I have come across numerous homeopathic remedies and one of these such things are RESCUE products.

I try to do things such as exercise or play saxophone in the community band I belong to so that I have a constructive outlet when I need it. However, that doesn't always work - I may not be able to get to the gym right away or I may miss rehearsal that week. So, when I find myself in a moment in which I'm stressed and can't utilize one of my other ways of de-stressing, I eat one of my RESCUE Pastilles

I was first introduced to RESCUE Remedy by several women in one of my mom's groups who swore by RESCUE products. And you know what? They work to help me stay calm and in control. We all have stress in our daily lives, from settling arguments between preschoolers, to meeting that deadline at work, to planning a family vacation, to dealing with depression and anxiety; we could all use a way to de-stress every now and then.

As I've said before, I prefer to use homeopathic remedies first before meds and that's just one of the things I love about RESCUE. Not only are the products homeopathic, but they're also non-habit forming with no side-effects, which honestly is something that terrifies me about prescription meds. I personally prefer the black currant pastilles, but there are numerous products in addition to the pastilles, including RESCUE Sleep Liquid Melts and Pearls.

A BOGO RESCUE product coupon is currently being offered on the RESCUE website. I am definitely taking advantage and I hope you do too. We could all use a little less stress in our lives.

What do you do to manage your daily stress?

  2. They're pretty big in crunchy circles. I'm so glad that they're finally available at large drugstores because they're so much more easily accessible.
