These were my July goals:
- Get a handle on my eating. Uhhh yeah...I have gained 10 lbs in six weeks. Um. What?! I.am.out.of.control and it's really really infuriating because I know what to do with my eating, I just need to stop making excuses and do it.
- Complete the SAI scrapbook pages I need to do for the last two years since I'm no longer editor. I have gotten some of this done, but not all. I will get there by September.
- Going along with the scrapbook theme...buy frames and hang all the photos we printed last fall on our family photo wall. I haven't bought frames, but it's not for a lack of trying. We buy a specific frame from Target and they haven't been in stock when I've checked while grocery shopping.
Sell several items that didn't sell in our yard sale on Facebook yard sale pages.Done. Well, I sold all but two of the items. I'll call that a win.
My goal for August is simple. Take a step back and enjoy the rest of the summer. A friend told me that I should do that when I was talking about how crazy things have been and I'm definitely taking that advice. I have been really stressed out this summer for various reasons and it is showing in all aspects of my life. Something has got to give and right now it's going to be my blog for a bit. I'm not officially taking a blogging break, but I'm not going to stress out if I don't get that post finished that I wanted to write for the next day, or even the next week. Or if I don't read and comment on every single post that a fellow blogger has written. I've already been doing this for part of July and I'll admit, it's really really nice.
I hope that you enjoy what's left of your summer too!
