Weight Loss Milestone Giveaway Announcement!

IMG_2198

I wanted to invite you all to participate in my first ever group giveaway! To celebrate finally getting below 200 lbs, I wanted to host a giveaway to one of my favorite stores that I can now fit into again, White House Black Market.

Here are the details:

The giveaway will run the first week of March and $10 will get you 2 links of your choice, $15 will get you 3 links and $20 will get you 4+ links. Or, alternatively, you can donate your own item and receive 1 link. I think this is a great opportunity for us all to promote our blogs and celebrate an awesome weight loss milestone!

Please fill out this form if you are interested: http://ow.ly/tyYKT

Remember, the more cash, the better the winnings :-)

Thanks so much for all of your support!

  1. Believe me, there are days when I would love to stay home with them all the time. It definitely is hard when a lot of people I'm close to are SAHMs, WAHMs or work part time, but we're doing what is best for us in our current situation.

  3. I always feel like I'm behind on housework haha. Which is why we try to take Sunday evenings to clean a room in the house each week after the kids go to bed. I have had to come to terms with the fact that my house will never be spotless and that there will be some sort of clutter somewhere. I definitely miss my kids and feel like I'm missing out on things with them, but I also know that I couldn't handle staying home with them all the time either.

  4. Yes, they do have friends there, which is nice. I'm glad that they aren't kids that have only been around mom and dad and therefore freak out when they're around anyone else - I couldn't handle that either. I feel so bad for those parents!

  5. I could not be a stay at home mom either. There are times where I wish I could be a stay at home mom but I know I couldn't handle it every day. I have to have my adult interaction and I have to feel like I am doing something I am meant to do besides being a mom.

  6. I feel the same way! Ideally I would love to work half day and have the afternoons with my children... I don't feel I am less of a mom because I work. Yes the guilt gets to me sometimes but I work for my family and myself! My children Love going to school and playing with the friends! They come home at one and spend the afternoon with their nanny. It works for our family! Don't let anyone bring you down for Your choices! You know what is best for Your kids family and yourself! I think it takes a special woman to work full time and manage a household!! So take that crunchy judgmental you wouldn't last a day in our shoes rude women!! ;-)

  8. I would love to work part time during the time they're in school, but we can't afford that right now. Actually, I would be totally happy working part time at Starbucks :-) My kids are in daycare with their cousin and they love it. I'm glad that they get the outside interaction personally. It is hard and I do feel bad about it sometimes, but I know that it's best for us.
