Ewan's Third Birthday

Saturday afternoon was Ewan's birthday party. I was a little worried that because we rescheduled it for Saturday instead of Sunday due to the snow that wasn't (Seriously, we got all rain and maybe two snowflakes) no one would be able to come. But, almost everyone we invited was there!

He loves Super Why, so we had a Super Why party. He wore his Halloween costume and was Super Ewan. I normally make cupcakes, but this year I decided to order him a Super Why cake and it was amazing! The cake turned out better than I could have imagined.

Ewan had a blast playing with his friends but by the time we did cake and presents he was super tired and grouchy. He had been saying all week that he didn't want us to sing Happy Birthday to him, so we wound up singing Feliz Cumpleanos instead. He also got really shy around everyone and refused to blow out the candles so I did it for him. Silly kid!

Telling Daddy not to take his picture

Overall, it was a really good day and I cannot believe that my little boy is now THREE. Onto planning birthday number 4! :-)

  10. Just an FYI if you ever decide to have a Super Why party of your own. Super Why toys and cake decorations aren't made anymore and are really hard to find. Those toys sell for $40 each on ebay!
