I have been dying, and I mean dying, to tell you about the time I worked for NASA. Several months ago, I worked on a project at a NASA research station. I have always had a fascination with astronomy and when I was younger I wanted to be an astrogeologist and the first person and woman on Mars. Unfortunately, this dream ended because I discovered that math and I do not get along as I got older.
However, I still love space and astronomy and when I found out I was going to go to NASA for work, I was so so excited. This is the closest I will get to ever working for NASA and it is by far the coolest site I have ever visited. We got to take a mini tour of some of the facilities during our orientation and it was all I could do not to drool. I count myself so lucky to have been able to see the testing facility in person because not a lot of civilians get to do that (even though it's in the movie The Avengers!).
