This Made My Year!
In my last post, I was talking about birth position and how it can affect a woman's labor. Well, today I got an email from one of my Harlaxton roommates who had her second child last week thanking me for mentioning the possibility of her son being posterior because it turned out he was posterior and finally turned during pushing.
This totally made my year so far! I have alwasy said that if I could help at least one person avoid the experience I had during Ewan's birth, I would be happy. Well, I have and the feeling is amazing. Not that I'm going to go out and become a doula or anything, but I totally understand why some women do. Helping someone avoid the trauma you experienced is so empowering!
